Desk Membership

On occasion, VSSL offer a subsidised desk membership - open to artists, producers, curators, researchers and other creatives, who may wish to co-operate in a flexible time-share of the gallery space between periods of our event and exhibition programming.

The cost of desk membership in such instances is £75 per month and includes:

Regular 24/7 hot-desk access (between sheduled events & programmes) to our creative workspace in Deptford, including free WiFi. There are communal toilets and a kitchen on site
Occasional free private use of the space, in negotiation with the VSSL team
Access to VSSL team and our network for advice and other support
Networking with other producers, curators, researchers and artists
Use of VSSL studio as a postal address
Substantially discounted rental of the venue for artistic projects
Profiling of studio members’ practices and projects through VSSL’s website and social media

As an active venue and project space, the gallery will be unavailable to desk members during events and in-house curatorial projects, as well as private hires - advance notice of these dates and times will always be given. The co-operative flexibility required here is reflected in the subsidised membership rate.
